Biography

Biography: My parents taught me how to ski when I was little. My first time up a chair lift was on my mother's Hart skis, with leather boots, and breakless bindings. The same setup my father had purchased for her years prior as her wedding engagement gift. (New ski gear was more important than a ring those days, the ring came later)

I made a promise to my father to finish university before heading to the mountains to live out my dream. (They moved from Montana to Wisconsin just before my sisters and I were in the picture.)

Fast forward to today and I instruct snowboarding for Vail Resorts. It will be my 7th season and I would not trade it for anything.

I enjoy teaching with kids and adults alike, and pursue advanced studies in child development and sports psychology.
